The party continues.

Over the summer, my friend (Kristen, mother of Canon) and I started talking about having a joint birthday party for our little boys. Canon was born 13 days after Alex and they have been best friends since they first met.

The weather was strange the day of the party and so we weren't sure if we should set up inside or outside. We finally decided to set up outside. We made it through the first hour of the party outside and then it started pouring rain and everyone grabbed things and ran inside. At the beginning of the party, Alex was playing on some concrete stairs and fell down a few of them. The bump on his forehead immediately became huge but it didn't get much worse than that.

If you think this party looks cute, I give all of the credit to Kristen. She is the creative genius. I just did what she told me to do. A lot of friends from our ward and Sam's program came to the party and it was very fun to visit with people and celebrate our little boys.

Aw! he fell down the stairs?? thats so sad! My sister maren uses this cream called arnica, and it like reduces swelling and bruising really well. you can get it at pretty much any drug store- if your interested! my nephew smacked his head on the tile and had a huge golf ball goose-egg on his head, And she put Arnica on it like instantly, and the next day it was practically gone! and it hardly bruised. Amazing stuff that Arnica

hahah the last balloon picture where Alex has on 1 shoe is adorable. You should figure out a way to get a still shot of Alex taking a bite of the cake.

Wow what a CUTE party! You guys definitely went all out, i am impressed! You dont see us because we sneak out of church through the back door.....we park by it since it's near the nursery room. Sewing is a great idea! Now if you know anyone who can help me figure out how to use my sewing machine I could totally do that!
