Level two (Perch) was full of Alex's friends so they were all going crazy the entire time. The teacher had a hard time keeping the kids under control and the moms were helicopter parenting from the deck.
One day after class, Alex's coach chased down Sam on his way out to talk. He said, "He is one of the best students I've had this year with just natural swimming ability." I am so proud.
His testing certificate said, "Alex, you are an awesome swimmer. Keep practicing and playing in the pool, listen to your mom and instructors, and you will keep getting better and better! You pass easily."
