We had a drive-in movie party to celebrate the end of school. The kids talked about it for weeks before the party. They remember when we did this for Alex's birthday a few years ago and were thrilled for a repeat.
The kids stayed in their boxes for the most part. It was a long movie that they had seen before. I spent the afternoon at a bridal shower and was rushed getting ready for the party but it ended up working out and everyone had fun!
