Dear Wedding Ring,
I miss you. Just like the rest of my body, my finger got bigger. You started feeling tight. As much as I wanted to keep you on, I am super paranoid. I don't want you to have to be cut off because I go to the hospital, die, and have to be zapped back to life (yes, that is the technical term).
Hopefully our separation will only be two months. I think of you often. Most frequently it is in a panicked state when I realize my finger is naked.
Until my finger goes on a diet, rest peacefully in your jewelry box.

Yeah, I had to take my wedding ring off a few weeks ago as well. Kind of depressing. Also you wonder if people think that you're an unmarried, pregnant teenager....
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain :-( It's so sad, not only do we give up our bodies for our children, we have to give up so many small things too. I think pregnancy makes daughters love their mothers more :-)
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend buying a WalMart ring with a ridiculously large, fake diamond and wearing it until your own ring fits again. :)
ReplyDeleteawe Em!!! Go get a fake one at target or a department store. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen Tyler and I were engaged, my diamond got loose and it had to be fixed for one week. By then we had been engaged for 6 months. I couldn't stand having a naked finger so we got a cheapo fake one that I wore for that week. I still have it even.
Not to that point yet, but now you've got me worried...thanks :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. sorry to hear about your figure and its nakeness
ReplyDeleteHey! Oh my goodness, Congratulations!! I am glad you found my blog as well :). I love blogs, it's so great to keep in touch!
ReplyDeleteI put my wedding ring on a gold necklace and wore it around my neck! I likd that!
