Length: 25 inches
He makes noises like an Indian.
He plays with his hands so it looks like he's passing something from one hand to another.
Baby gangster.
He scratches himself.
He plays with bubble wrap.
He loves tummy time.
At the table with no hands!
He looks adorable in his carseat.
He gets bundled up with Daddy.
He celebrated his very first Christmas.
He drinks grape soda (not really).
He dances to YMCA.
He went to his first movie and was a superstar.
He talks to himself.
He rolls over.
He goes in the carrier facing forward now!
He sucks on his bottom lip.
He tries to get his knees under his body during tummy time. Crawling soon?
He is always grabbing everything. He has to grab whatever is put in front of him and put it in his mouth.
He is very alert.
He looks interested in things.
He can sit up!
We torture our son in the following ways:
We stick our fingers in his mouth.
We force him to make funny faces.
We dunk him.
We hang him upside down.
We tease him with ice cream.
We don't help him.
We make him do the splits.
We laugh at him when he looks like this in the morning.
Here are a few more things Alex does for which I do not have a matching picture:
He...
...sits cross legged.
...is very camera shy.
...laughs when we say, "Boo!"
...loves sleeping on his left side and will roll himself there to go to sleep.
...is bulimic. He sticks his hand so far in his throat that he gags. He has even made himself throw up.
...is very ticklish on his inner thighs.
...will not make noise if it is noisy around him.
...will sleep in his carseat for a long time.
I love Alex. He is the perfect cure for me when I am sad. He is the best son. I love his giggles and I cannot get enough of his tiny body. Sam and I are so grateful that he is a part of our family and we would not want it any other way.
HE'S GETTING SO BIG!!!! I can't believe it's already been 5 months since you had him...I love these posts. They always make me laugh hysterically and I look forward to what Wyatt will do :)
ReplyDeleteOh Emily! He is so stinkin cute. Love it.... and where did you get that awesome carseat cover thingy?! I know it's not technically cold here but babies get colder than we do so yeah! Oh yeah I love his awesome smile!

I love the "This is how we torture him" section...haha;-)
ReplyDeleteOh my adorable baby! What a sweetie! I love your pics and corresponding comments. By the way, Brook was a VERY slow weight-gainer (1 oz in 1 month at 9 months) and she has been perfectly healthy and developed right on if not before schedule, so I hope that helps you not worry too much! I was a basketcase over it!
ReplyDeleteHe is a darling. I love to read all the wonderful things about him growing up. You are a wonderful mother.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Emily! Y'all have WAY WAY WAY too much fun with that son of yours! It's completely unfair! :)
