We had brunch before church. All extended family members were invited but not everyone came which resulted in a lot of leftover muffins. All the better for me to undo everything the 5K training did.
Everyone came to the church to hear Flannel speak. He didn't talk very much about his mission because we had heard so much the night before, but he gave a really good talk about teaching the gospel in the home (I don't think that was the actual topic, but that is what applied to me). He said something like, "Duty and responsibility makes you do something. Love makes you do it well." I need to ask him for the exact quote.
After church, Everett took a nap. This is an adorable baby. He is so cuddly. Most people left town right after Sacrament Meeting so the house was very quiet.
After dinner, Holly came over to see us. I am glad she was willing to load up her kids and come over, because I was not about to head out again. I was being really lazy. I had fun visiting with her and meeting her three kids.
Camille stopped by to pick up something for her little sister. We only got to talk for a few minutes but I was glad to see her.
Alex has never needed so many baths. He was a disaster from playing so hard all day long. Daddy made his towel do a magic trick and Alex was so impressed.
That is an absolutely terrible picture of me at the table. And Matthew is hiding behind me which is no fair haha.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are just cute, no debates.
What great pictures! You packed a lot of family events in a short amount of time, it seems like. The Mesa Temple lights are amazing! And, Emily, you look great! The 5K training has definitely paid off!
