Who actually wants to cook in the morning? Not me. This is really easy and yummy!
Black and Blue Breakfast Smoothie
makes 2 servings
1 1/2 c. frozen blueberries
1 1/2 c. frozen blackberries
1 banana
1/4 c. orange juice
8 ice cubes
2 t. honey (optional)
1/2 c. granola (without raisins)
1. Place the frozen berries, the banana, orange juice, and ice in a blender.
2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is almost smooth, with a texture between a slush and a sorbet.
3. Pour the mixture into a glass. Stir in honey, if desired. Top with granola. Serve immediately.
Really? That's funny! What ship were you on? Maybe I saw it.

ReplyDeleteum, to answer your question, i served a mission in Boston Massachusetts... it was pretty magical- i mean, if you have been there- you would know that its pretty much the coolest place ever! :)
i was there November of 2004- June 2006. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't really want to cook in the mornings, but I don't want to clean the blender after smoothies, either. I just wait until noon to eat anything, and call it breakfast.
