Banana Bread
makes one loaf
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 egg
1 c. mashed banana
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cooking oil
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mash the banana.
3. In a small bowl, combine egg, mashed banana, and cooking oil.
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sugar.
5. Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
6. Pour into greased bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
My suggestions:
*Measure carefully.
*Leave the bananas kind of chunky.
*Use bananas that look like the need to be thrown away. They are better that way!
*Eat it while it is still warm!
*Do not overcook it.
[I think this recipe is from Betty Crocker but I can't remember.]
