For Mother's Day, Sam brought me breakfast in bed. I don't think he had ever done that before and it was very cute. It was something my family did for my mom while we were growing up.
After church, we went on a walk through Sapsucker Woods. We lived right next to it and Sam still had never walked through! Crazy boy!
That night, Sam gave me a Priesthood blessing. Afterwards, I felt more confident in my ability to be a mother because sometimes I don't feel like I can do it. As long as these boys know I love them, I [hope I] am doing alright. They make me so happy and I love being a mom. I would not be the same person I am today if Alex and Edison weren't my babies. Not even close. I love them!

It's nice to get a reassurance that you are a good mom. I also think it is nice to know God is on your side too :-)
